PELT — Placement Test

Find Your Starting Point

Not everyone begins at Lesson 1. This short test finds the furthest point you can enter without gaps in what came before it, checked against how you actually sound speaking live — because every lesson and every final in this program ends in real spoken conversation, not a written test.

How it works: Work through the checkpoints below in order. Answer as best you can — if one feels too hard, hit "This was hard — stop here" instead of guessing through it. There's no way to fail this; it just finds an honest starting point.

At the end, you'll also do a short (60–90 second) spoken sample with your instructor — since writing and speaking don't always match, and speaking is what actually matters here.

Checkpoint A · Self-Introduction & Numbers

Write 2 sentences introducing yourself: name, age, where you're from.

Say these numbers aloud: 13, 30, 18, 80.

You'll say these out loud with your instructor — no need to type anything here.
